Oliver Cromwell's House can facilitate an immersive, engaging and unforgettable educational experience. In addition to the House, we have our own Victorian Court Room and Cells that can be used for educational topics relating to Crime and Punishment, past and present or for the re-enactment of trials, such as the Littleport Riots or Charles I.

Cromwell and his Legacy.
This tour can be tailored to various Key Stage groups and is an ideal teaching aid for the following curriculum subjects. Here’s a few examples of curriculum based study. We have bi-lingual guides available for overseas study groups and tours available in French, German and Spanish.
We are also able to offer combined educational tours with Ely Cathedral, The Stained Glass Museum and Ely Museum.

- A Local History Study. One case study being the importance of Oliver Cromwell’s House and the most famous former residents continues to resonate locally, nationally and globally.
