Delivery and Returns Policy

Thank you for shopping at Oliver Cromwell’s House.


Please allow 3-4 days for delivery of goods. If you do not receive your product(s) after this timeframe please get in touch on 01353 662062 or email us stating your order number. If we are unable to fulfill the deliver because of stock levels or any unforeseen circumstances we will get in touch with you and arrange an alternative delivery day or provide you with a refund.

In relation to events, your confirmation order email is proof of booking. If this email doesn’t arrive please get in touch, quoting your order number or full name.

Returns and refunds

If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with a purchase we invite you to review our policy on refunds and returns.

The following terms are applicable for any goods that you purchased with us:

Event cancellation rights

To cancel an event hosted/arranged by Oliver Cromwell’s House, you must inform us either by email or call 01353 662062. Please note to receive a full refund, we need to be informed within 14 days of the booked date. Please allow up to 7 days for the refund to appear in your bank account.

Conditions for returns

In order for the goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

  • The goods were purchased in the last 14 days
  • The goods are in the original packaging

The following goods cannot be returned:

  • The supply of goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
  • The supply of goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.
  • The supply of goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
  • The supply of goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion.

Only regular priced goods may be refunded. Unfortunately, goods on sale cannot be refunded. 

Returning Goods

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods to us. You should send the goods at the following address:

We cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the goods or proof of received return delivery. Please allow up to 7 days for the refund to appear in your bank account.

House Closure – 1st October 2023

Oliver Cromwell’s House will be closed to General Admissions between the hours of 2.30pm and 5pm due to a Pre-Booked Guided Tour.

Our Tourist Information and Gift Shop will be open as normal from 10am until 5pm

Oliver Cromwell’s House will be closed today until 1.45pm due to pre-booked educational tours.  


The Tourist Information Centre and Gift Shop remain open.

House Closure – 29th September 2023


Oliver Cromwell’s House – Admissions today will be limited to 2pm until 3.15pm due to a pre-booked Guided Tours. 


The Tourist Information Centre and Gift Shop remain open.

Admission to Oliver Cromwell’s House – 23rd June 2023


Due to a pre-booked Guided Tour entry to Oliver Cromwell’s House will be unavailable between 1.30pm and 4pm.
