Originally performed to a sell-out audience in 2024, More Trials of Terror returns to Sessions House!

This time featuring Arson, Poisoning, Highway Robbery and Murder!

The Sessions House, now the offices of The City of Ely Council, looms on Lynn Road as a reminder of the times before when criminals would have been presented for judgment.

Now is your chance to step back into the mists of history and bear witness to moments from some of the most notorious trials that took place in Ely. From murderers to witches, sit before the “Hanging” Judge, hear the testimonies of the poor souls wrapped up in these ghoulish tales and act as the jury – will you agree with history?

Once the trials are over, and the accused are found innocent or guilty and their destinies assured, take a nocturnal walk down and see the cells that still sit nestled within Sessions House. You will also be able to visit the Judges’ chambers.

This brand new theatrical and immersive experience is offered as entertainment and features true information about historical crimes and will themes of murder and capital punishment and may contain adult language.

Seating is un-reserved, and will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
