The scene is set, the halls have been decked, and the holly hung from the roof (along with a gibbet) but all is not well in Auld Ely City…. For crimes and misdeeds must be challenged and this is the trial of the last century….!

Ebeneezer Scrooge is on trial. The prosecution is lined up, with something more of the gravy than the grave about them. The defence is prepared, with towering titans of defensive law including Tiny Tim Cratchit.

This Christmas, you’re the jury and for the first time, Scrooge gets his day in court!

Not since Blackadder’s Christmas Carol has this much-loved tale been taken for such a ride! So join Ely’s Rogues Gallery, the team behind the sold-out ‘Trials of Terror’ series, for a hilarious, interactive, festive fling!

Seating is un-reserved, and will be offered on a first come, first served basis.

Refreshments will be served after the trial has concluded.
