As part of the "In Conversation with..." Programme for 2018 and 2019, Oliver Cromwell's House is pleased to host "The Curator" - Stuart Orme who is the Curator and Manager of The Cromwell Museum, Huntingdon.


Stuart has a History degree and postgraduate qualifications in Education and Museum Studies. For fourteen years Stuart worked for the Heritage service of Vivacity, Peterborough's cultural trust, leading on the Interpretation and programmes for Peterborough Museum, Flag Fen Bronze Age site and Longthorpe Tower, as well as developing a guided tours programme for the city. He was a key member of the team that refurbished Peterborough Museum in 2012, and for eight years developed and managed Peterborough's annual Heritage Festival. For the last two years he has been Director of Operations at Peterborough Cathedral, helping develop its programme of events and this year's programme of celebrations for its 900th anniversary.  Stuart has a passion for history and enjoys sharing this with people.
