21st and 22nd December 2017 - 2.30pm
The nights have drawn in, the frosty mornings are upon us and Oliver Cromwell’s House have decided to bring Professor Arthur Bismal in from the cold!
Christmas is his favourite time of year and he has spent many moons pondering it’s origins, from where we get Chocolate Christmas logs from, via Christmas Dinner during the times of George IV (Georgie Porgy of Nursery Rhyme fame!) with a quick stop in the Trenches of the First World War before hearing about what’ll happen to naughty children (No, it’s not a lump of coal!) and finishing in traditional style with a Spooky Story just like your Great Great Great Granny would have heard on Christmas Eve when Queen Victoria was still reigning.
As always, The Professor’s tours are suitable for Children aged 4 to 104 but young people must be accompanied by an Adult.
Tickets - Adult - £7 and Under 16 £5
