Ely's Tourist Information Centre, based at Oliver Cromwell's House, are the organisers of Ely's Eel Festival Weekend. A unique four day, fun packed celebration all based around the humble eel. As part of the Food and Drink Festival on Sunday 30th April and Monday 1st May, Oliver Cromwell's House is host to a series of "An Audience With" providing food and drink lovers the opportunity to hear the personal stories of four different people and find out why they are so passionate about their crafts.
Calling all ale lovers for our first session! This is your chance to meet local Micro-Brewery Brewer Richard Matthews, the man behind “Mile Tree Brewery” and the wonderful range of locally brewed beers, ranging from blonde to darker beers.
Discover how each beer is crafted to create the distinctive flavours and aromas within the intimate surroudnings of the Tithe Office at Oliver Cromwell's House. There will be plenty of opportunity to taste test a range of Mile Tree Brewery’s ales so you can discover for yourself, why this Fenland Micro Brewery is so popular.
This session is at 12.45 pm and lasts 45 minutes. Over 18's only.
Mile Tree Brewery is our resident beer tent at Ely's Eel Festival Weekend (www.elyeelfestival.co.uk) so do call by and say hello.
