Ely's Tourist Information Centre, based at Oliver Cromwell's House, are the organisers of Ely's Eel Festival Weekend. A unique four day, fun packed celebration all based around the humble eel. As part of the Food and Drink Festival on Sunday 30th April and Monday 1st May, Oliver Cromwell's House is host to a series of "An Audience With" providing food and drink lovers the opportunity to hear the personal stories of four different people and find out why they are so passionate about their crafts.
Jane Devonshire was crowned MasterChef 2016 Champion in the twelfth series of the hugely popular BBC One series. Stay at home mum, had an extraordinary final cook-off where she wowed judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace with her childhood-inspired menu.
The menu consisted of a Winkle starter, Indian-inspired Sunday Roast Lamb, and Rhubarb and Custard dessert. Don't you just love her!
We are delighted that Jane has agreed to be part of our "An Audience With" series. This is your opportunity to hear Jane talk about her love of cooking and the exciting year she has had since winning Masterchef, in the intimate surroundings of the Tithe Office at Oliver Cromwell's House. Also your chance to ask her all those questions you've been dying to know the answers to such as what is it really like behind the scenes at MasterChef?
Tickets to join Jane are limited to just 22 spaces. The session starts at 2.30 pm and lasts for 45 minutes. So book your ticket now!
Jane can also be seen demonstrating in the Cookery Theatre at the Food and Drink Festival. For more information check out our website at www.elyeelfestival.co.uk
