Ely's Tourist Information Centre, based at Oliver Cromwell's House, are the organisers of Ely's Eel Festival Weekend. A unique four day, fun packed celebration all based around the humble eel. As part of the Food and Drink Festival on Sunday 30th April and Monday 1st May, Oliver Cromwell's House is host to a series of "Audiences With" providing food and drink lovers the opportunity to hear the personal stories of four different people and find out why they are so passionate about their crafts.
We are delighted to welcome the internationally renowned chef Theo Randall to be our third "An Audience With" participant. Described as "this country's best non-Italian chef", his reputation has soared since he opened his first restaurant in 2006.
Theo was formerly Head Chef and Partner at The River Cafe, which was awarded its first Michelin Star under his direction. Theo's rising profile has been enhanced by his many television appearances.
In addition to his public cooking demonstration as part of our Food and Drink Festival, we are incredibly excited to be able to offer you the chance to hear Theo talk about his love of cooking in the intimate surroundings of the Tithe Office at Oliver Cromwell's House. Theo will be happy to take questions as well as sign books at the end. Feel free to bring your own books in or you can purchase either of Theo's cook books on the day as Burrows Bookshop, Ely, will be in attendance.
Tickets for this "An Audience With" are limited to just 22 spaces. The session begins at 12.45 pm and last for 45 minutes.
